Sunday Morning Play Test

A quick play test this morning that lasted around about an hour and a half. Being both GM and all four PC's is a schizophrenic experience to say the least, and remaining fair but treacherous to yourself is weird.

Had there been other REAL humans playing the game couls have lasted around 2 or 3 hours.

I used 4 characters:

Kalk The Wrong - Elf Sorcerer
Halbert The Sneak - Elf Thief
Dextrus The Mighty - Human Fighter
Grogbait Bugswarm - Dwaf Barbarian

I laid out a dungeon using +Billiam Babble Inked Adventure tiles, and populated it with some of my paer stand up bad guys. Orcs, Goblins, Wraiths, an Ogre, a Troll and a Blad King.

Trying not to disturb the cat, the players entered the dungeon. Their goal to clear it out and loot da loot.

A few rooms and dead Goblins & Wraiths later the adventurers were a little bloodied and low on mana.

At the halfway point the adventurers decided to rest by a cavern river to regain HP & Mana.

That cat gave not a toss for their adventures.

Finally after killing a Blade King and his Wraith minion (who got trapped under a kicked in door) the party moved on to the Altar room to confront the Ogre and his Goblin sidekicks.

Grogbait almost died as he is a useless barbarian with terrible AP.
Kalk ran out of usable mana after casting choking mist on the Ogre.
Halbert stupidly attacked the Ogre whilst the choking mist spell was still active, receiving damage in the process.
Dextrus and Grogbait finally took the Ogre down whilst it was being distracted by Halbets poor attacks.

The many faces of the dead:

6 Orcs
5 Goblins
4 Wraiths
1 Minotaur
1 Troll
1 Blade King
1 Ogre

Our valiant heroes.

The resulting damage and loot totalling 570g each

All packed away for another day.
